Head Yoga Practices

Gentle yoga exercises and breathwork can help relieve tension, improve circulation, and calm the mind when headaches strike.

1. Neck & Shoulder Release

  • Roll shoulders slowly 5 times forward and backward.
  • Gently stretch neck side to side.
  • Breathe deeply, noticing tension release.

2. Forward Fold with Breath

  • Stand or sit, fold forward letting head hang gently.
  • Exhale slowly, letting shoulders soften.
  • Repeat 5 breaths.

3. Pranayama for Head Relief

  • Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) - 5 cycles
  • Observe calming of mind and reduction in tension
