Head Yoga Practices
Gentle yoga exercises and breathwork can help relieve tension, improve circulation, and calm the mind when headaches strike.
1. Neck & Shoulder Release
- Roll shoulders slowly 5 times forward and backward.
- Gently stretch neck side to side.
- Breathe deeply, noticing tension release.
2. Forward Fold with Breath
- Stand or sit, fold forward letting head hang gently.
- Exhale slowly, letting shoulders soften.
- Repeat 5 breaths.
3. Pranayama for Head Relief
- Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) - 5 cycles
- Observe calming of mind and reduction in tension
