Swaroop Darshan

Food and Our Relationship

First, let me explain the meaning of the word "Food". This word has three syllables:

1. Bho

2. J

3. N

Bho represents the tangible world, something perceivable by the senses.

Bhoj means that which can be contacted and absorbed within oneself.

Food signifies an act through which the existence of the material world continues.

When you practice Swaroop Darshan, gradually, the physical substances you eat and drink naturally appear before you, keeping your mind and body happy.

Eating consciously means establishing unity with God in the form of food.

Through this practice, questions about dinner, rich food, Rajasic, Tamasic, Sattvic diets, and many others that constantly arise in your mind gradually transform into happiness, creativity, and strength.

People say eat three times a day, some say once, some say fast, some say vegetarianism is best. These conflicting ideas confuse the mind, and you spend life in this turmoil without truly experiencing the truth.

Why? Because you have not practiced Swaroop Darshan.

Once you realize the true vision of all types of food through this practice, the question of whether meat or vegetarian food is right for you becomes irrelevant.

For example, should one consume products obtained from animals? Through this article, I aim to give the real answer:

Imagine you have raised a buffalo and spend most of your time caring for it – bathing it, taking it to the field for food, giving it water lovingly, feeding it well. You are devoted so that even if it gives less milk or none, you serve it with complete dedication.

You and this buffalo develop such friendship that when it roams in your field, sometimes it lets you sit on it, and it feels very happy.

If a person sees you riding the buffalo and claims scientifically that "products from animals are unhealthy", you know what they will think of you. They may say you are harming animals, but a conscious person will recognize the devotion and feel happy seeing you.

Now imagine you are a district collector with several cars around you, and you don’t own a buffalo, but you love buffalo milk and buy it at ₹200 per liter from places where animals are only considered as resources for human profit.

One day, a buffalo falls ill and milk is extracted unnaturally – with injections, tying legs, beating. When the buffalo is frightened and forced, it is clear the white substance from its udders is no longer milk.

What is it then? Poison. Yes, 100% poison.

Your mind may ask: you are paying for this milk, why worry? But with Swaroop Darshan practice, your soul tells you love cannot be bought with money.

Even if you buy rat poison with money and feed your children, it does not become nectar. Money carries energy, but reality is if someone takes money to commit murder and uses it to buy food for children, it becomes slow poison for them. This is the ultimate truth.

So, what should humans do? Only practice Swaroop Darshan.

When you practice Swaroop Darshan with devotion, love appears in every living being.

Imagine the food served on your plate carries the feeling of love due to your practice. The food shows the manifest form of God, and you feel immense affection.

Even if you eat it or not, your mind is joyful – this means you have achieved unity with the food.

It doesn’t matter if the food contains meat. There is a difference between merely talking about love and realizing it. Practicing Swaroop Darshan transforms all conflicts regarding food into divine love. Then you live in the present moment – this is acceptance. This is surrender.
